Course dissection and implant techniques on cadaver

21 March 2026

Presentation of the course:

The course is intended for medical surgeons and dentists who wish to refine surgical techniques applied to implantology. It includes a theoretical presentation of the procedure, immediately followed by hands-on practice on cadavers. The practical training will be carried out in pairs, with two participants working on each anatomical specimen. The presence of tutors ensures appropriate support during the performance of the various surgical techniques. The aim of the course is to provide in-depth knowledge of anatomy, offering the opportunity to perform and learn basic and advanced techniques of oral surgery and implantology.

LEARN

Surgical anatomy of the mandible and maxilla • Implant placement in the incisor and canine areas with assessment of anatomical risks • Incision, flap elevation, and isolation techniques for the main nerve structures • Identification of the mental foramen, lingual nerve, mylohyoid line, and maxillary sinus • Placement of trans-sinus implants with sinus lift and use of biomaterials • Placement of pterygoid implants and, on request, zygomatic implants • Regenerative surgery with harvesting of autologous bone from the mandibular ramus

APPLY

he practical session will be carried out on cadavers, with exercises in groups of two participants for each anatomical specimen. Each clinician will be able to perform the learned procedures personally, under the constant supervision of the tutors, to refine manual skills, anatomical orientation, and surgical precision in a realistic and safe environment.

ADVANCE

This course represents a fundamental step in developing surgical competence and awareness. Thanks to direct cadaver-based experience, participants will be able to strengthen their operative confidence, reduce intraoperative risks, and master advanced implant techniques. A unique opportunity to transform anatomical knowledge into clinical mastery.
